Two superb brass bands for the price of one!
The legendary Brighouse & Rastrick Brass Band need no introduction. Famous for their top ten hit ‘The Floral Dance,’ the band was established in 1881. They have won countless awards over the years and tour internationally.
Joining Brighouse & Rastrick will be the reigning London & Southern Counties Regional Champions, Friary Guildford Band, and together they will make an unforgettable evening for all brass band aficionados.
Both bands will be performing in Camberley for the very first time.

Join Friary Guildford, the London & Southern Counties Region no. 1 ranked band, in their annual fundraising concert in support of the Alzheimer’s Society.
This year Friary will be joined in concert in Bournemouth by the Boscombe Salvation Army Band and guest soloist Dewi Griffiths, princiapl cornet of Tredegar Band, kindly sponsored by Besson. The evening will be expertly compered by guest MC, Radio 2’s Frank Renton.

With a varied programme featuring numbers from the programme awarded ‘Most Entertaining’ at this year’s Butlin’s contest, a classic brass band test piece in Tallis Variations and stunning solos from some of the band’s principal players, there really will be something for everyone.

Join the regional champions Friary Band for a relaxing afternoon on the bandstand in Godalming’s beautiful riverside park.

This contest will be run in 2 mixed ‘open’ sections: A Section for bands graded Championship, First and Second section nationally; and B Section for bands nationally graded in the Third, Fourth and Youth sections. Ungraded bands may choose which section to play in, subject to contest management approval.
Prizes will be awarded for each Section and for 1st-3rd places, best Hymn Tune, best Conductor and Instrumental prizes in each of the A and B Sections.
Order of play will be pre-drawn.
