Oxted Band are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Musical Director, due to relocation of our their MD.
They are a friendly band rehearsing on Tuesdays at 8:00 in their own premises at Hurst Green, Surrey, which is less than 10 minutes from M25 Junction 6 and also on a main train line from London.
Oxted has roughly 20 players currently with a very good level of attendance and commitment to the band. They contest occasionally and the band is in demand with three major concerts each year plus many local engagements and community events. They also have a training band which is led by members of the main band.

The successful applicant would be expected to take up the role around the start of May 2015.
