The Southern Counties Youth Band’s annual Open/family rehearsal is on Monday 30th December, and you are all invited to come and join us to blow away the Christmas cobwebs. This is an ideal opportunity to meet the SCYB members and team, other banders from your area and play some different music, so bring your instruments, parents, kids, brothers, sisters, aunties and uncles, neighbours, pets…
We’re in a new venue this year – Friary brass band’s home in the parish hall at All Saints’ Church, 564 Woodham Lane, Woodham, Woking, GU21 5SH.
From junction 11 of the M25, take the A320 towards Woking and Horsell Common (watch out for Martians…) for approx. 4.5 miles.
At the ‘Six Crossroads’ roundabout take the first exit onto the A245 Woodham Lane. The church is approx. 100m down the road on the left hand side.
Turn into the grounds and follow the tarmac drive past the church; the parish hall is straight ahead.
Please don’t park immediately to the left of the hall – this is the emergency vehicle access.
Rehearsal is 10am – 4pm. There is a kitchen on site for teas/coffees etc but you will need to bring your own lunch.
