  The next Quartet and Ensemble Contest will be with us in a little over three months.  It will be held at Ringmer Community College, near Lewes, East Sussex, on Sunday 17th February 2008.  The facilities at the College are good, with free parking on site.  Food will be available, as well as the usual storage and warm up facilities.  There's even a good pub just across the road!  >> Read More
     
  LGB Brass has raised £100 for breast cancer research.  Band members donated the money at their Wear It Pink rehearsal last week (Thursday October 25th).  They wore pink shirts, ties, hats, socks, nail varnish, glitter, tinsel, wigs and buttonholes.  Musical Director, Ian Stewart, even had a pink baton for the occasion.  >> Read More
