Farmer Event Cancelled - Friary Guildford Band, 25th

Unfortunately because of
issues with obtaining an entertainment licence,
Friary Guildford Brass Band's event scheduled for
Sunday 25th May 2008 at the Jolly Farmer
in Worplesdon has been cancelled. The band would
like to thank Fullers and Tara and the team at the
Jolly Farmer for the work they put into organising
and advertising this event and we hope to be able to
further strengthen our relationship with both
Fullers and the Jolly Farmer in the future.
The band would also like to
thank many of our supporters who expressed an
interest in this event - we hope to be announcing
some exiting new events in and around Guildford in
the near future, including a series of
'Mini-concerts'. For everyone that was planning on
popping down to the band's local to hear Friary
play, I'm sure the Jolly Farmer will still make you
very welcome. Alternatively why not sit in the
garden with a pint of London Pride, throw a few
steaks on the barbeque and put one of our CDs on?!
