Recent Southern Counties Amateur Brass Band Association Entertainment Contest champions, Friary Guildford Brass Band are pleased to announce a series of local concerts to be held at Weyfield Primary School, Guildford. The first of three concerts, entitled "Around the World in 80 Minutes", will take place at 3pm on Sunday 20^th July and will be directed by newly appointed bandmaster, Andrew Porter.

For his maiden concert as bandmaster, Andrew has prepared a programme of music to give the audience a taste of global musical diversity.  All proceeds from the concert will help the band complete a tour of Germany, which  will see the band perform at the 'September Fest' celebrations in Ettlingen as well as entertain locals at a concert in Guildford's twin town, Freiburg.
