SCABA Logo   2008 Hove Spring Contest, Hove Town Hall, held on Sunday 6th April 2008, all seventeen of the bands entered fought their way through the worst snowfall to hit the South East of England for 20 years, in order to take part in this event.  Apart from the start being delayed by 45 minutes, the contest was a great success.

Steve started playing brass and percussion at the age of 8 with Porthywaen Silver Band.  He went on to study music at Liverpool and Trinity College of Music in London before embarking on a career in performing arts as conductor, performer, teacher, composer and adjudicator.  >> Read More
